What a good recipe for cheesy potato's?

Cheesy Sliced Potatoes


6-1/2 cups thinly sliced potatoes (about 1 pound)


1/3 cup water


2 tablespoons dried minced onion


2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules


1 tablespoon all-purpose flour


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/8 teaspoon garlic powder


3/4 cup milk


3/4 cup sour cream


1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Place the potatoes, water, onion and bouillon in an ungreased microwave-safe 2-1/2-qt. dish. Cover and microwave on high for 12-14 minutes until potatoes are tender and bouillon is dissolved, stirring once.


In a small bowl, combine the flour, salt and garlic powder; stir in milk until smooth. Pour over potatoes. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 4 minutes or until thickened, stirring twice. Stir in sour cream; sprinkle with cheese. Cook 3 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Yield: 8 servings.





Cheesy Hash Brown Potatoes


2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed cheddar cheese soup, undiluted


1-1/3 cups buttermilk


2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted


1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt


1/4 teaspoon garlic powder


1/4 teaspoon pepper


1 package (32 ounces) frozen cubed hash brown potatoes


1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese


1 teaspoon paprika


In a slow cooker, combine the first six ingredients; stir in hash browns. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 4-1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender. Yield: 6-8 servings





Cheesy Mashed Potatoes


6 large potatoes, peeled and quartered


1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened


1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese


1/2 cup sour cream


1/3 cup chopped onion


1 egg


2 teaspoons salt


1/2 teaspoon pepper


Additional shredded cheddar cheese, optional


Place potatoes in a large saucepan; cover with water. Cover and bring to a boil. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until very tender; drain well.


In a mixing bowl, mash potatoes. Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, onion, egg, salt and pepper; beat until fluffy. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350掳 for 40-45 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with additional cheese if desired. Yield: 10 servings.

Cheesy Potato Casserole





INGREDIENTS:


1 pound frozen hash brown potatoes


2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup


1 small onion, chopped


1 pint sour cream


2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese


salt and pepper to taste


4 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal squares


2/3 cup butter








DIRECTIONS:


Place hash browns in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, stir together soup, onion, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper until well combined. Pour over hash browns. Crush the cereal and mix with the butter. Sprinkle mixture over soup layer. Cover and let rest in refrigerator 24 hours.


Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).


Bake in preheated oven 45 minutes, until golden, hot and bubbly.








Grilled Three-Cheese Potatoes





6 large potatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick


2 medium onions, chopped


1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese


1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided


1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided


1 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled


1/4 cup butter, cubed


1 tablespoon minced fresh or dried chives


1 to 2 teaspoons seasoned salt


1/2 teaspoon pepper


Nonstick cooking spray





What to Do


1. Divide the potatoes and onions equally between two pieces of heavy duty foil (about 18 inches) that have been coated with nonstick cooking spray.





2. Combine Parmesan cheese and 3/4 cup each cheddar and mozzarella; sprinkle over potatoes and onions.





3. Top with bacon, butter, chives, seasoned salt and pepper.





4. Bring opposite ends of foil together over filling and fold down several times. Fold unsealed ends toward filling and crimp tightly.





5. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 35 to 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender.





6. Remove from the grill. Open foil carefully and sprinkle with remaining cheeses.What a good recipe for cheesy potato's?
It isn't pretty and it doesn't have to be precise. Peel potatoes and cut them into thin slices, add some pimentos, garlic, a bunch of cheese, and some mushroom soup (straight out of the can). You can make it as wet, dry, cheesy, etc. You really can't go wrong. Just bake until potatoes are soft and it has the consistency that you want.

* 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced


* 1 small onion, finely chopped


* 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese


* 1 teaspoon margarine


* salt and pepper to taste





DIRECTIONS:





1. Layer the potatoes, onion, cheese, salt and pepper into a microwave safe casserole dish. Once finished layering, place 1 teaspoon of margarine on the top of the uppermost layer. Cover and cook in the microwave oven on HIGH for 10 minutes.


2. Remove the dish from the microwave and stir before cooking for another 10 minutes or until done. Stir well and serve.
just thinly slice raw potatoes into discs, and layer them in a casserole dish with butter and cheese (i like velveeta for this) and layer in some onions and bacon or ham if ya like, then bake covered on 350 until the potatoes are tender. just thin slices of cheese don't overdo it.
You lack the intelligence needed to make such complicated recipies, don't bother.
