Baked potato recipe that you swear by?
I love guacamole on it. Also broccoli/cheese soup with some frozen or fresh broccoli added to it and ham. Leftover beef stew with lots of gravy-I have even used leftover spaghetti sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese for a pizza flavor. And even though I usually bake mine in the oven for an hour at 450, I have used those saran wrapped microwave ones and enjoyed them. Baked potato recipe that you swear by?
Bake as usual in the oven, rubbed with oil and rolled in foil. Take them out when done and scoop out about half of the insides. Mix in a big bowl with shredded cheese, chopped red onion, sour cream, ranch dressing, diced red bell pepper, jalapeno peppers (seeded and chopped), and corn kernels. Stuff potatoes. In a small bowl make a sauce of half sour cream and half salsa. Spread of the top of each potato, followed by a layer of cheese. Bake for at least ten more minutes. :)
I cut up potatoes and then that's wedges! I bake them at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
You mean aside from wrapping in foil and baking in 400 oven until soft throughout?

While potatoes are baking, saute finely chopping onion, garlic and some butter in a frying pan. You can add crumbled bacon, diced carrots or chopped broccoli if you like. Cook until soft.

After potatoes come out of the oven, cut them in half and scoop out the middles, into a bowl. Add a little milk, the stuff from the frying pan and shredded cheddar cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix it well. Put filling back into the potato skins. Sprinkle with more cheese and bake again until cheese melts. If there is bacon inside the potato, then put more on top.

Serve with sour cream.
Sour cream, grated cheese and chives. Unhealthy but good.
scrub it good with a vegy brush

Rub with oil , or butter

Wrap in foil tightly,

Add (if you have them) aluminum baking spear to shorten baking time and cook evenly

Bake in hot oven about 450

It's almost done when you can smell them (about an hour fo raverage size spuds)

Take the out with hotpads and SLAM pretty hard on the counter! Makes the tater ';give up'; and fall apart inside.

Make a long slit..scrunch together slightly causing it to pucker up and accept the generous amount of Butter .

Add any additional toppings, like Cheddar, sour cream or real Bacon, and ENJOY!
Bake as usual a large baking Tator. Once out roll in butter and sea salt.

Then open wide and fluff with fork some of the middle of. Add some hot melted cheddar (optional flavor) and real bacon and some of favorite chili. On top your creation a dash of sour cream.

Now cooler an easy filling meal and warms to the inner you with a 4 food group. I have used Wendy's Chili and Potatoes and making it on my own for the real quick times. Taking it home and dashing some sea salt on before toppings and maybe a left over that I could micro that looks good at the time for a more loaded potato. I have used Queso dip, I have used a Spinach Dip, A chunky soup, Even a clam chowder. Any chowder has a potato in it so it works. Another goods one. Left over steak and mushrooms. Chop those babies up and add some salt and fresh pepper with some fav toppings.
