Potato soup with these ingredients? Can't find the recipe - please help?

A few years ago I made a potato soup that was just delicious. I can't find the recipe anywhere, but I know (or as I remember) it had potatoes, canadian bacon, evaporated milk and I think cream of celery soup. There were probably more ingredients that I can't remember (of course, there was water involved :)/

Does anyone have a recipe that sounds like this? I loved it... and I don't know why I haven't had it since. Thanks for any advice!Potato soup with these ingredients? Can't find the recipe - please help?

I can't remember where I got this recipe, I'm sure you can use Canadian bacon instead of ham and it would still come out good, this is a wonderful soup. well hope this helps, good luck and enjoy. HAPPY COOKING

1 lb. baking potatoes, cut into cubes (about 3 cups)

1 can (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth

1 cup milk

3 slices Bacon, cooked, crumbled and divided

1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

2 Tbsp. sliced green onions, divided

1/4 cup Sour Cream
Nice try! The most important ingredient is Onion and a little bit of sunflower oil .
I make potato soup this way. 6 strips of bacon, fried crisp. Drain fat and sautee one small onion. Slightly cover 6 small cubed potatos with water and boil until slightly soft. Add bacon bits, onion and 1 can milk and heat to simmer. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of flour with water to make runny and add to simmering liquid to thicken slightly. Add salt and pepper to taste.
